After First Date – 32 Reasons Why He Didn’t Call

August 7th, 2009

After First DateYou just had a great date. There was a spark of chemistry, a great conversation, tons of compliments, and hints on many more great dates.

However, he never called again. Why?

I’m sure every woman has at least one story like this in her “little dating book”.
What happened after the first date? Was it a bad first date? Why didn’t he call?
1)      He was just relaxing on this date.

Some men just relax over a nice dinner and conversation and they don’t mean to turn this great time into something serious. Don’t get upset. If he said that there is no future, what would it look like? Count this as a new experience.
2)      You two have different “speeds.”

If you think that you have to date for three months (as your grandma taught your mom) and he asks “your place or mine” then you are on totally different pages.
3)      He got scared.

Scared of what? Well, just got scared. Feelings, responsibility, competition, or luck of them as well as your beauty or own sexual problems. Just you as “super woman” in his life can sound scary to him.
4)      You weren’t ethical enough.

You asked to go to a very expensive restaurant or were too curious about what car he drives (and he took a taxi). You laughed at him when he couldn’t use chopsticks or commented sarcastically on his mutual friends. Be careful, men are too sensitive.
5)      You talked too much about yourself.

He doesn’t need to know that your grandma got married five times, that your boss is a jerk, that your best friend dates a Chinese guy, and that your cat is about to give birth
6)      You were quiet as a fish.

Well, if it happened once, just forgive yourself, but if it’s your standard behavior…you have to see a therapist.

7)      He was a person who specializes on “tests.”
He is testing women just to prove to himself that not one woman deserves HIM (because he is a gift).
8)      You counted on a serious relationship with him.
Men are hunters, so as soon as they sense a trap, they disappear.
9)      You invaded his personal territory.
Examples: You sit too close, you went through his phone when he went to the bathroom, took his gold lighter without permission, asked “so what days do you go to the gym? Oh really? What time?” – this would be a major red light.
10)   You were bored, and he felt it.
11)   He got afraid of your position

– do you know that men between 30 and 40 years old think that the worst occupation for women are (hold tight) dentists, fitness instructors, executives in big companies, police officers and the leading one is… THERAPISTS (sad, huh).

12)   His mom didn’t like you

– if he took you to his mom, you gotta be happy that things didn’t work out.
13)   Your social status is not good enough for him.
14)   He couldn’t handle your social status.
15)   You didn’t try to impress him, but it was obvious that you are too much for him.
16)   Your date was in a wrong place.
17)   Your date happened at a wrong time.
18)   You were a “smart mouth.”
19)   You confessed that you are divorced and you have kids.
20)   You have different view points towards life.
21)   You implied that you had too many men.
22)   You started to make mutual plans.

23)   Your sense of humor was too much for him.

24)   You brought your friend to a date.
25)   You lied about yourself.
26)   You acted too sexy.
27)   You criticized yourself too much.
28)   Your tempers are different.
29)   You are not his type.
30)   You are not emotionally available.
31)   He is not emotionally available.
32)   It just didn’t work out –

well, he lost your card, his phone got stolen, he went om a trip and got stuck there for 2 years. You went to have a lunch with a co-worker and he hugged you while HE drove by. He called you and your sister joked that you are getting married this weekend. Well, there are too many stories like this and when he didn’t call, we hope that he is really on number 32.

First Date Wear – DOs and DON’Ts

July 10th, 2009

Dear Ladies,
Today I’m going to talk about the first date at a restaurant where he invited you for dinner.
Have you ever wondered why he didn’t call after your first date? Especially when you ended up almost having sex in the car? Well, the good news is that there is always another time, another date, or another man. Anyways, I suggest not to worry. This is life and life is about lessons. I figured out the “perfect first date outfit” by the long way of trial and errors (and I’m talking about my own errors as well as my friends and clients).
Don’t get me wrong, the first date is not about what you wear – it’s about how do you feel, behave, and talk. It’s about chemistry and energy. However, your look IS important because chemistry is partially based on your look.  When a man says that he’s attracted to your beautiful soul and kind heart, I hardly doubt that your heart is inside of a 500 pound tattooed body with a face full of wrinkles and pimples.
OK, back to the first date. If he invites you to the restaurant, I suggest two main choices. Let me explain why. There are two main winning looks – classy and trendy (I hope you understand that being classy can be even more sexier than anything else). Even if you meet a 21 year old guy, trust me, if he will see you looking Classy Chik, he will fall for you right away.
OK, back to our First Date Outfit
small heart1)      If the restaurant (Lounge) is upscale, wear a little black dress.
small heart 2)      If the restaurant is not that trendy and expensive, nice jeans with a classy top are a great idea.

HOW TO WEAR

The Little Black Dress

First Day Wear Little Black Dress

small heartHas to cover your assets (you’ll have plenty of time to show them later).  Yes, ladies, remember mystery is the key. Make sure that if your dress is too short, it covers your top and preferably has sleeves. Leave all fancy cuts for special occasions.

small heartIs not supposed to spark like Christmas tree toy.

small heartWear hills, but no open shoes with tights. Hills will make you look slimmer and your legs longer. Do not wear 8 inch hills – leave it either for pole dance class or for women who wear them as a uniform (you know who I’m talking about).

small heartWear one piece of jewelry. If you have huge diamonds – do not wear them till date number 5. Expensive jewelry usually scares men away.

        Jeans and Top

        First Day Wear Jeans Top

small heartJeans are supposed to be your real, not your dream size – nothing can be unsexier than pieces of meat hanging from your waist line.

small heartIf jeans are pretty classy, your top can show some cleavage. Make sure that “some” do not look like the bikini top. You can always wear those to a club at your girls night out when you have no intention to start serious relationships.

small heartLeave too ripped jeans for the beach, or hanging out with friends at the bar.

small heartHills are the way to go, but again, make sure that they look classy and haven’t been designed to go to a movie premier.

Dear Ladies, Please leave a comment and let me know what do you think! What First Date outfit worked for YOU?
